Ivan St. Ivanov

Ivan St. Ivanov is development architect at SAP Labs Bulgaria. He has been working in the Software Logistic area designing and developing installation, upgrade and update tools for SAP software for the past 12 years. His main interests are in the agile software engineering practices and in application development. In his free time he likes contributing to open source software, mostly to JBoss Forge. For the past several months his focus is in migrating Forge 1 plugins to Forge 2 addons. Since October he is also driving the adoption of OpenJDK within the Bulgarian JUG.

Ivan has master’s degree in Business Informatics from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, where he is now assisting in teaching Java EE and Service Oriented Architecture.

Sasa Slavnic

I am software developer and architect, with more than ten years of experience in software development. My main area of interest is RIA and mobile development, using wide range of open source platforms and tools. Another major area of my interest is software development methodologies and practices.

Lukas Eder

I am the founder and CEO of Data Geekery GmbH, located in Zurich, Switzerland. With my company I have been selling database products and services around Java and SQL since 2013. Ever since my Master’s studies at EPFL in 2006, I have been fascinated by the interaction of Java and SQL. Most of this experience I have obtained in the Swiss E-Banking field through various variants (JDBC, Hibernate, mostly with Oracle). I am happy to share this knowledge at various conferences, JUGs, in-house presentations and on my blog.

Anton Sarov

Anton Sarov is a Java Software Engineer at Entimo AG (Berlin, Germany), a life sciences and regulatory informatics company which delivers high quality software products and services. Anton has worked as a freelancer and holds a degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Berlin. He is interested in the Eclipse Platform, Agile practices and beautiful code. Currently Anton is writing a book about UI testing of Eclipse-based applications.

Nikolche Mihajlovski

Nikolche Mihajlovski is a software engineer who always seeks for improvements of the commonly established processes, practices and technologies. He has 16+ years of programming experience in various programming languages, paradigms and technologies, diverging from experimental research and pet projects to serious enterprise applications.

Nikolche is the author of JAnnocessor, a modern technology for annotation-based code generation and validation, as well as RDXPL, an experimental multi-paradigm dynamic programming language. He is an active member of the local Java User Group.

Nikolche spent this year developing “The Irresistible Database for Java”.
